David:
"I'm on tour for the first time with my partner Jamie. I can already say one thing, I eat a lot and well and I fell in love!!! No, not with a girl - with weissbier (bear brewed from wheat)!!!! We don't have that in Canada.
We had a free day on Thursday and Mirko, René, Vjatcheslav and I rented a car and drove to Bad Liebenzell (that's a town) and played golf! We could play for free and had a great day. By the way - I won the game.
But now about the ice. I'm very surprised, how positively the German audience received us here. Our programs, especially our free program to the music of "Love Story", have been received very well so far. On Friday we skated in Schwenningen and I was totally astonished because I had never seen an arena/colisseum with only 3 walls, i. e. one of the sides was open! We don't have that in Canada, here all the arena's are closed.
I've had lots of fun on the tour so far, because I got to know many people, who I've often seen before, better. We get along very well, despite the many cultures that are meeting here. By the way, I had a fantastic experience at the beginning of the tour. I have to say first, that in Canada we can't drive more than 100 km/h on the highway. Mirko Müller drove me from Berlin to Regensburg and he drove 200 km/h! I've never been driving in a car on a highway that fast before. I also paid the next tank of gas though and that cost me no less than 110 DM (about 55 $ US). Is that ever expensive here! By the way, I could move to Germany, because you have the most beautiful cars, the best beer and the most beautiful women! Until next time!" (all I have to say about that is haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa tooooo funny!)
The following two translations were attempted by me so they aren't exact and I'm probably leaving things out but it's the best I can do.....
Barbara Fusar Poli (Jamie's Roomie)
I find being on the road to be tiring. I mean it! 2 years ago I roomed with Margarita Drobiazko and since then she has beend my best friend. This time I'm sharing a room with Jamie Salé (she is like me and we are having tons of fun! She just can't say my name right. )

On Friday we had a free morning. I used the time in Sindelfingen to go shopping in Breuningerland (shopping centre). I prurchased towels and Austattung(???) for our new home, which we move into 3 weeks. For those of you who don't know I am getting married on 24 June to my friend of many years, Diego. We bought a new Appartment and after the wedding we will be in our own home for the first time
The tour is a lot of fun much fun, but I look forward to the end in one week, because it was a long season.
Daniel
...In one show Jamie, Peggy with Mirko and David performed a double death spiral ... ... ... During dinner at the hotel we surprised our young birthday girl, Jamie Salé, with a nice idea. All the guys came in singing ' Happy Birthday ' with a red rose and gave her the rose and a kiss. 23 individual red roses, which formed the birthday bunch at the end. Rarely before we had such good times on the tour
