Summer Tour Diary
Encounters:
Joseph met Jamie and David next to the ABC booth at Skate America last year.  They had just won the competition and were very happy. Jamie promised to sign my (Joseph's) photo next year in  Vancouver at the world championships.  Some of the others pictures were taken at the hotel where the skaters were staying. Elvis was a nice young man, he spent several min chatting with us. Sarah hughes and her couch were very nice also.

Carla was in Calgary for the nationals and met Jamie and David first at the father david bauer arena.  She was caddying there for the novice events, and then the second time when she got their autographs was when they were at the saddledome watching and thenshe saw them once more back where the changerooms were... She was in the parade of champions thing for the top calgary competitors, and so we got to go back there and saw all the skaters(it was pretty sweet). Carla skates for the Glonecoe club and is working on her double axels.

"There was only one girl allowed to skate with me and there was only one guy allowed to skate with Jamie. It was, I guess, each other. The first time we grabbed hands, it was just great,"
- David Pelletier, 1998 Skate Canada on CTV

Jamie was born to be a pairs skater and now I believe she has found her perfect match.
- Barb Underhill,

The chemistry that we have and the way we skate, it's amazing.
I never thought I would find this match."
- Jamie Salé,
